LIBERATE YOUR DEEPEST WORK
9-WEEK JOURNEY
For many of us, the relationship with our soul’s work is entangled with complexity.
We long to do the work that nourishes our soul yet, we doubt if our work will actually sustain us.
We long to do the work that uplifts our communities yet, we wonder if the people will come.
We long to surrender in faith and allow the Divine to lead yet, we’re afraid of being led astray.
We long to share our deepest gift yet, we’re unable to clearly see and articulate our unique magic.
When layered with the pressures of racial capitalism, our interpersonal ruptures, our beliefs and our lived experiences it often catapults us towards disembodied pathways where we hustle harder to survive.
HERE’S WHAT WE NEED TO CONTEND WITH…
When we grasp at these seemingly clear cut conventional strategies to “success” that lead us further down the path of burnout and disconnected from our creative edge.
When we relate to ourselves, one another and our work as if we are machines and not divine beings and expressions, it strips the soul out of creations.
For those of us whose work is nuanced and journeys into the miraculous and mysterious depths, cookie cutter approaches fall flat and don’t resonate with those you most want to serve.
When our vision is sourced from the Divine and our Ancestors our innate brilliance is woven and can never be imitated or duplicated.
When we have the courage to dream beyond coloniality and individualism it becomes safer to be seen in all of our luminosity.
When we birth offerings that are rooted to true healing and liberation it also heals us and creates abundance for ourselves and the collective.
When we allow ourselves to be seen and held in community we move beyond the cut throat notions of toxic competition and rise together as we are met and held.
When we re-imagine and re-shape our relationship with our work, we approach our soul’s work as a loving gardener does giving our holy work space to bloom in ways beyond our imagination.
When we merge our intellect with our embodied wisdom it deepens our leadership, our intuition and creativity.
A channel for truth and beauty
A pathway for embodied healing
Medicine to weave a more beautiful world
Nourishment for coming generations
Decolonial medicine
We begin June 26th

My intention for joining Revolutionary Work was to grow my dissertation coaching business. As a solopreneur, I was doing it all and I was in search of clarity around my business. I really needed time and space to reflect and dream.
This experience has truly been transformational as a Black woman in business who serves Black women. My time in Revolutionary Work has been an amazing journey of self-discovery, a poignant look at business and labor in the USA, and community. I look at my work (my medicine) differently and have crafted my writing spaces as a liberatory community.
I’ve connected with an amazing community. I’ve been poured into and supported in a way that continues to fill and fuel me. My heart was blown wide open at the thought of building and sustaining a business that speaks to the dreams and desires of my community instead of their “pain points”. And I realized I can do and be the work without sacrificing me.
I learned that my business and research can be connected. I learned that I carry a medicine that has been placed within me. I’ve grown in confidence as a Black woman business owner. And I’ve restructured my offer to support my community while valuing my own life!
Dana Gathers, Ph.D.
My original intention was almost immediately changed to the realization that I actually needed to shut down my business and have a reflective season to explore what offerings might be more in alignment with my soul and my soul’s work. The most impactful thing was that I felt the support to do that without feeling any type of feelings around being a failure for closing the business. I felt fully supported in this decision and every lesson just kept reaffirming that I need a quiet season to play, reflect, pray and wait.
Being exposed to what I am now calling ”a new definition of integrity”. Thérèse is just one of the most authentic people I’ve ever met and I felt like she really taught us the roadmap to how to stay in alignment with our own integrity at all times in our soul’s work. That blew my heart wide open.
My wins were being introduced to my Soul Council – so grateful for these women and the opportunity to deepen our friendships and be in community. Another win was just being able to experience COR and now being able to continue my work through the membership and be a part of that larger community. And finally, being able to see the holistic angles of business and how it can be if we all choose differently from what capitalism has taught us. I can see now how off I was on my mark and what I didn’t know I didn’t know.
I would say if you’re feeling like your alignment with your work is off in any way or that you feel alone and unsupported in your work; like no one cares or no one is listening; or if you’re just looking for a different model that might be considered off the beaten path, this program will give you all of that and then some. I would also say that to pay for a day or an hour or 9 weeks to be in the company of Thérèse and gain some of her wisdom and her peace and her authenticity is always money well spent and you’ll never regret that choice.

I felt lost and not confident in my vision for my health and wellness business. I felt like maybe what I had to say wasn’t important enough. I was looking for external validation for my vision and ideas and was not trusting my inner guide.
Part of the transformation for me was leaning into trusting my voice. This space definitely opened up my throat chakra. It was so inspiring to be in a space of Black women navigating similar challenges and working to thrive in spaces not built for us. I am learning how to carve out my own space where there are infinite possibilities! My original goal of clarifying my visions and feeling confident have done been met and surpassed!
The most delightful part of the journey was finding a space that felt good to my nervous system and it had everything to do with Thérèse and the folks attending.
My vision is much more clear. I have a pay structure for my business that I feel confident about. I am reaching out to and meeting with potential collaborators to present a workshop I designed.
If you’re thinking about joining Do it!! Don’t even think about it. I rave about Revolutionary Work and how transformative it was for me as a Black, immigrant, woman

Finding out what is meant for me in this new season of business building and coaching, and discovering how I’m meant to go about doing what I’m called to do. I felt committed and hopeful before, but now I’m also feeling more clear and grounded into who I am, what I have to share with others, and how I want to move forward.
Really grounding into a decolonized perspective of building offerings and doing business, including self-care, community care, and a liberated outlook and mindset. This is not the norm in business building, but it is so necessary. And also doing this in a communal, sister-focused, supportive way. My intention was met and surpassed! ☀️🙏🏾
I would say the soul council has been so delightful. Also receiving such wonderful information and provocation from Thérèse in the company of my sisters in this work of healing and celebrating and holding space. I also really appreciated the guests we had, which definitely brought everything home.
If you’re on the fence about Revolutionary Work I’d say do it now! You won’t regret it!

I am building a nonprofit organization from the ground and in 2024 it became a reality instead of purely conceptual. I was not feeling any frustration or challenges beyond those associated with doubt in myself. I know I am more than capable and the ideas are there, but there has always been this little “what if” that rests deep in my mind and body that has prevented me from making forward momentum.
Revolutionary Work has felt like the guide and mentorship I needed. I have participated in Leadership Development courses, but RW asked more introspective questions that helped me reconnect to the presence of spiritual guides and dig into myself. It was paired with almost a year of participation in COR and it just felt like the nudge I needed in relation to the work I am called to do. What I wanted from COR has been greatly surpassed.
As a result of participating in Revolutionary Work our organizational paperwork is complete at the state level, we have an EIN, we have the inaugural board of directors and draft Bylaws. I’m also showing my artwork again, which hasn’t happened in over a decade.
I yes, absolutely, 100% recommend Revolutionary Work! Sometimes you need a gentle and loving nudge and RW is that space.
